Katie Mazza

Orientation & Mobility Instructor

Katie earned her B.S. in Marketing at Santa Clara University in 2000 and completed her M.A. in Special Education at San Francisco State University. She has a credential in Orientation and Mobility and is ACVREP certified. During the 2008-2009 school year, Katie served as an assistant teacher in the adaptive technology lab at the California School for the Blind. After interning here at The Hatlen Center, we knew it would be a mistake to let such a natural teacher slip away. Katie started full time in July of 2009. She learns fast, fits in well with our staff, is flexible, resourceful, patient, and has a great work ethic. We are so happy to have her on board.
